No. Your Senic Kinetic Switch is wireless and battery-free. You simply stick it on or insert it into an existing GIRA frame, without any electrical work.
If you place it over an existing wall switch, simply leave your old switch on so that your Hue lamps remain powered. The Senic Switch will then take over control. You don't change anything in your 230V installation for this.
Only if you want to completely remove or replace your old, hardwired switch is it an electrical installation and should be handled by a qualified electrician. You don't need this for the Senic Switch itself.
