No. Your Senic Kinetic Switch is wireless and battery-free. You simply stick it on or place it in an existing GIRA frame, with no electrical work required.
If you place it over an existing wall switch, simply leave your old switch on so that your Hue lamps remain powered. The Senic Switch will then take over control. You don't need to change anything in your 230V installation for this.
Only if you want to completely remove or replace your old, hard-wired switch is it an electrical installation and should be handled by a qualified electrician. You don't need to do this for the Senic Switch itself.
