You have multiple options:

1. Using on flat surfaces

The switch doesn't need to be mounted on a wall and you can use it on any flat service or even carry it around. This is a very popular option for people who want to have a switch on their bed side table for example.

2. Mounting on the wall using sticky dots

In the package, you will find some adhesive materials to place the switches on any wall. We've chosen a specific material that won't damage your wall. You can place the switch on any regular wall, wood or even glass.

3. Mounting on the wall using screws

Another option to mount the switch on walls is using screws. Screws are not included inside of the package since the right screw really depends on the type of wall you want to place your switch on. The diameter of the holes for the screws are designed for M4 screws or smaller.

4. Adding the switch to a larger frame set

The switches are designed in the standard 55mm system. This means that you could remove the outer frame and place the switch in a larger frame set. We recommend this for GIRA system 55 frames. If you have an existing double frame with normal switches, you could now get a triple frame and add the switch to it.

5. Replacing your existing switch

We do not recommend this options since you will need to touch mains electricity. If you have an electrician coming over or are empowered to work on mains, you could also remove your normal, existing switch and then place the switch in the same spot using screws on your flush mount box.
